Priestess, Witch and Indie Artist for the ones ready to embrace their divine darkness.

What makes Jiana different?

Jiana started out as a classically trained indie artist making dark, haunting music not very different from her spiritual practices.

She was never like the other Witches who only felt safe in the light and therefore never went digging into their shadow and transforming from it.

She knew intuitively that going into the dark, meant finding the light within us. She never felt ok with bypassing strong feelings and emotions and instead saw them as information for more spiritual growth.

She comes a line of Brujas, Curanderas, and even Santeras in her Cuban lineage, who also found power and wisdom through the fire of the Dragons, the wisdom of Hecate and the sovereignty of Lilith. The dark was what helped her overcome her patriarchal good girl conditioning.

Why Jiana Wessel?

You know that bypassing or ignoring your feelings and emotions are not helping you grow spiritually.

When was the last time a spiritual guru told you have having negative feelings or emotions are low vibe? Or their getting in the way of manifesting the life you want? I call bullshit! Your feelings and emotions are information of what actions or steps you need to take next. Are you angry because of injustice? Or a boundary being crossed? How does not honoring feelings help you? Or better yet who is benefitting from it?

A priestess and indie artist that honors the rage and fire inside you.

That rage you feel lately? That rage is sacred. That rage is your ancestors wanting to speak up. That rage is you remembering that you were never meant to be a door mat for the patriarchy's system. You were meant to be free, wild and divine in your own disrupting way.

A priestess and artist who has walked the path herself.

I was raised in a patriarchal Cuban family. My father said his life would've been easier if I had been a boy instead of a girl. I was to clean the house, cook the food, remove his shoes when he'd get home and serve him breakfast, lunch and dinner. I also wasn't supposed to have a sex drive, be assertive or aggressive in anything I wanted for it was too masculine for me as a woman. Ugh, you get the picture of how I was trying to contort myself in to a person I wasn't just to keep my father happy or live in a tumultuous environment. I had to fight tooth and nail to find my inner Dragon and Lilith and stand in my power.
